I know every rig is different but I have a feeling no plugs is the right set up for me. I have pulled the plugs and will run it again tomorrow. I expect better results. Thanks again!

To answer the question, yes (or no as the case may be) the motor did not move in either direction, up or down. I will check with my local wrench and have him check the trim motor. I do have warranty left until 2012 so I may be in luck and get a new one. Thanks for the quick help. Alan

You are correct, we are all just as excited as you are to get that new Kitty! Just remeber, a new boat comes with a new trolling motor! Cant wait to see it.

I, too, have a 2007 Puma. Ive been running bass boats since 1986 and frankly this is the best riding hull Ive been in. Thats not to say the newer hulls dont ride better. In fact, a friend of mine bought a Couger FTD in 2008 with the newer hull based on a ride and drive in my 07. He was considering an “R” boat but after his experience in my boat he was floored at how well it performed in rough water, handling, fishability and speed. I maintain the 07 hull is a fantastic riding hull that I would put up against any boat on the market. If I were to consider a new Puma it would be based on other factors like the new consoles where your rod tips no longer touch, stainless steel cup holders, better floor drain, built in bow lights with an option for a built in sterm light, better seats, etc but not based on a better ride. Like I said, for what its worth.

Hawg Dawg, I added the box to my 07 Puma. I moved the stereo from the side of the drivers console to the box under the the console. BCB made the box to fit my boat. I called BCB, gave them my Hull ID # and they built the box with the same carpet in my boat so it matches perfectly. If I remember it was about $60 and they shipped it right to my door. Installation was very easy.

Thanks, BCB. I have a 2007 Puma and would like the answer to this question, as well.

BCB, I bought some Evercoat Hardener at West Marine. I added a small amount of hardener to some of the gel and it doesnt seem to do anything. The gel remains a liquid. Should it harden and if so how long should it take?

Brian, it was a pleasure meeting you at USA Marine on Saturday. This was the first chance Ive had since relocating back to MA to meet other “Family” members. Jonathan Carter is a great representative for BCB as is Doug. I look forward to seeing you around Champlain and Doug and Jonathan up in ME. Its good to see more BCBs coming into New England. Let me know if youll be back in MA at anytime. Well get connected and do some fishing!Alan

If you look at my profile youll see some pics of my boat. It also has a sand bolt and sand fenders on the trailer.

You can check for air under the transducer by filling your bilge with water next time your boat is in the water. Be sure to put enough water in to cover the transducer. If you get accurate readings then you know you have air under it. At that point you can break it free and remount it. Good luck!

Ive always carried a spare. Interestingly, Ive never had to use it but Ive bailed out 2 others over the years that needed one!
