Whats your prop to pad?I noticed a change of ~500 rpm by dropping my motor to 3″ (from 2″) when I put a 25 Fury on.

The 25 fury should’ve given you a little more RPM. You may also need to raise your jack plate – just keep an eye on water pressure.

I’ve got the same boat with a 99 Johnson 200 & a fury 25. I’m pretty sure my P2P is closer to 2.5″.

Didn’t that motor have an “auto trim” feature? Not sure why a bump in the road would cause that to activate – probably a poor wire connection somewhere, maybe a short that’s created when the motor bounces?
