My boat is paid for so you would have to finanace but I would assume you would have to qualify and refinance to take over someones note as I do not believe the bank would allow without you qualifying. My thoughts anyway, and here is my boat info: 2008 Basscat Sabre Single Console with 150 Mercury EFI (1 year warranty remaining – correction from yesterday), 71# Motorguide TourEdition Trollmotor, Hummingbird 787 w/GPS (dash), Hummingbird 717 (bow), 2 bank Battery Charger (troll), Trickle Charger (crank), Rod Storage, Tilt Steering, 23 and 24 pitch Tempest Plus Props, and Custom Basscat Cover. Approximately 20 hours on engine.Garage Kept. Asking $20,000.00. Call Gerard at (225) 978-7047 or email ][email protected] or ][email protected]. This boat is in like new condition. Can send pics if requested (not sure how to post them on here).

Thanks Skipjack. How were your rpms affected by the fury?

tbendcat, I have a new 08 Classic w/ 200 Opti. I swaped a 26″ Tempest Plus for the 24″ Fury at purchase. I am running (one person, 25 gallons fuel) 70.9 mph (gps) at 5750 rpm (rev limiter). I have a 25″ Fury coming this week to swap out and can let you know the numbers once I run it. Call me if you want to discuss (225-978-7047) Gerard

Bob, I have an 08 Classic w/ 200Opti and am running a 25P Fury. One person, 33 gallons fuel, ran 72.9 gps and with 2 people, full fuel run 70.9gps. In both cases I am turning 5750 rpms. The hole shot is incredible, and mid range excellent for me (55mph @ 4400rpms). I want to try a 26P as I think I may be able to turn it. Let me know if you have questions I might be able to answer.

My JP is set even (inner/outer plate even) as it came from the factory. I raised the plate but had no gain. I think the Fury likes it lower to bite. I weigh 230#s and my partners are all about 200#s. I carry 100#s (roughly) of tackle. I ran a 26P tempest plus but like you had to fight it on top (72gps). The Fury is very forgiving and up to 70 virtually no issues to drive. The last 3mph is where you have to drive the boat. I must say I am impressed with the Fury prop. Rick told me the Trophy may be a bit faster but I would have to drive it.

Also, no PVS plugs on the Fury.

Troy,I am running an 08 Classic w/ 08 200Opti and a 25P Fury. My JP is set even (inner/outer plate) and I am running 73.9 GPS (1 person, Full Fuel, Empty Livewell) and 70.8 GPS (2 people, Full Fuel, Full Live Wells). In both instances I am running 5800 RPMs and the hole shot is awesome. I would like to try a 26P Fury if I could find one. I also dont know if I should adjust the JP (not sure whether to go up or down on this application) because the boat runs great. My 10 yo can drive it to 50 (open water) with no issue (me holding the kill switch – lol). Let me know if you have other questions. The boat came with a 26P Tempest Plus, but it ran nothing like the Fury.Gerard

After running 4 Sabres (99, 02, 04, 07) and loving everyone of them, I struggled with choosing between the Sabre FTD or the Pantera Classic. I fish alot of marsh canals, medium lakes, and the Atchalaya Basin here in south Louisiana and have not felt the needto own a 20 footer. I can tell you the Classic w/ a 200 Opti is a perfect boat for me. I run 73.9 by myself and 71.3 with two people (full fuel, gear, etc in both situations). I am running a 25 Fury (want to try a 26). If you liked the Sabre, you will not be disappointed with the Classic.. If you like the Sabre FTD, then the PII is what you need to consider IMO. As Gary said Dealers with non-current inventory will make you a great deal. I drove to Nashville, Tn to pick up an 08 in March of 09 and the people at Riverside were great to deal with. I have called them again this year checking on their inventory because they treated me great. Good luck with your decision.Gerard
