    1. Purrfect Basss Boat: Rod locker that handles 8 rods since the trend lately is 76″ – 8 one piece rods. Port side locker wider than starbord would work as well. 2. Length & HP: 186″ rated up to 175 3. Desired Price Tag: 28k plain to 32k heavy optioned, 4. Wish List: FTD rear style deck (smaller boxes, smaller triangular livewells, rear gas tanks (twin 20s?), underseat stoage and cooler) 5. Nice Item to add: Twin storage up front to console with no step up cooler 6. Do Without Item: Third seat pin post in center of boat. (This is basically a baby cougar FTD)Your Signature …

BranonFrom a pure business point of view your choice should be a P4.Color it “nice”,not outrageous. Put a 200 HO on it. Put a HB 998 in the console and either a 788 or 858 on the bow.Add backup lights and the night stalker package. Also the grab bar and step. Your choice of TM based on what sells best in your area. Maximize on the gas tanks. This gives you a display premium package to show off the premium boats in console depth finders, the PUMAs layout, economy and speed of the big motor. Makes it eaiser to compare both the 20 footers and the new styling of the EYRA, as well as the other 19 footers (P2 and classic) as well as down to the sabre. Since there are not alot of P4s on the floor elsewhere, it is unlikely you will be stuck with a two year old boat (unless you go toooooo crazy with the colors), it should sell nationally. If you go with a sabre ftd and dont sell it regionally you may be stuck (look at outstanding inventory on the floor now elsewhere). If you go with the EYRA, you have nothing to compare the current line to.Just my old man opinion, but what do I know, Im stuck with two in my garage (and they are staying there).JimYour Signature …

I would also suggest using the shorter rod stix jacket covers (5 1/2ft) on most your casting rods or the nylon sleves on spinning rods. The rod tubes are only about 2 ft long and when all 9 tubes are full the covers keep your rod guides from catching on the other rods and the ends of the rod tubes when removing the rods. The covers also help when storing an additional half dozen rods in the bottom of the locker. It keeps the guides from catching the line on the other rods.I perfer the shorter ones because the longer ones have a tendency to hang up on your baits and hooks if you store your rods already rigged. They also have enough colors that you can color code your rods.jim Your Signature …

The biggest difference (other than cost) would be weight. Could be upto 20 pounds depending on brand.Your MK (as well as the mg digitals) is pretty energey efficient. As long as you dont plan on using the 2 – 3 days without recharging the 27s will be fine, just make sure you recharge after every use.I would suggest going to sealed/maintence free batteries (AGM or voyagers). This is to prevent damage when you forget to check the battery levelsJimYour Signature …

If your units are conected on a NEMA network, you can connect the good sensor to the network and have it available to both units. You can select the NEMA temp on both units rather than the local (“fixed connected”) temp and it will work. Your Signature …

Do you have an in dash flasher(1440), if so the second temp sensor may be going to the flasher (it was on my PIV).I am not sure how Bass Cat handled the temp sensor for the front if you had the thru hull transducer mounted up front, I think on my PIV it was in the transducer because it took a little time to “equalize” once I put the boat in the water. It would start out high or low depending on the outside air temp.If it is from a flasher, you should be able to switch it over to your lowrance unit easily.Jim Last edited by catmantwo on July 29th, 2010, 5:04 pm, edited 1 time in total.Your Signature …

Maybe. I dont know which way it was routed. If it was routed with the other wiring it maybe cable-tied and could be difficult to “pull” back twards the console. Make sure that it will fit your 332 (temp probe ts-1pl). If the front was the same unit, or also used the TS-1PL you should be ok.Make sure the connectors are the same as some units made in the 332 timeframe were not necessarily networkable and had different connectors.Sorry I cant help anymore than that as it sounds like it is not a standard BCB setup, perhaps the front unit was a dealer upgrade, which would make it eaiser to pull the connector back since it might not be cable-tied.Another thing to keep in mind is that the “standard” length of the cable was 15ft, optionally 20ft or a 4-5 footer. with at least 18in. going down the transom that leaves 18 1/2 ft to get to the bow (tight fit for a 19ft boat), so it probably has an extension cable (5 ft or 12ft I think). That means the excess cable is probably wrapped together near the bow. How much slack did you have up front? If the main cable was cable tied, you might be able to find the extension, unwrap it and run it back to the console with a fishtape. You might be real lucky and both sensors had the shorty from the transom into the bilge. If so, then all you need to do is swap the blue connectors in the bilge area. Too many options. Probably why BCB doesnt likt to run temp sensors to a fron graph from the transom.Last edited by catmantwo on July 30th, 2010, 1:03 pm, edited 2 times in total.Your Signature …

I dont use any seats. Wish it were not there and the center lid came all the way back. I trip on it (I shuffle my feet), and it hits me in the butt when I sit on the edge of the compartment when I am trying to change baits (cougar ftd). Your Signature …
