    Hello everyone.

Yesterday, I put my new 2008 Puma on the water for the for the first time. It was an awesome ride but I sure wish those new bucket seats had lumbar support in them. After about two hours of driving around, my lower back developed a serious ache.

I ended up stuffing the throw cushion in the lumbar area to get some relieve.

Are there any plans to beef up the support in the lumbar area?

Doug I have the 797SI in the console and the 777 at the bow. They are interlinked with the weather sense. I wish now that I would have gotten the 997SI at the console for the bigger screen. I will probably get one eventually and move the 797 to the bow. Good Luck. Eugene Kaufman TX

bcjigginjoe If youre 250HO was programmed for the XD 100 oil, then that is the only oil that can be run in it (except in emergencies – see youre engine manual). The XD 100 is a special synthetic oil and when the engine is programmed for it, oil consumption is cut by nearly half. Less oil consumption results in less smoke, less plug fouling and less emissions. I have been running it in my 2008 225HO for a year and a half, since new. It is expensive, but consumption is half so it is not as bad as it seems. Thanks Eugene

I used plastic anchors from the hardware store on my 08 Puma. I drilled out the screw holes to fit the anchors and glued them in with 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant. Have had no problems since. Eugene

MillpondI installed the bubble decals on my 08 Puma a year and 1/2 ago. So far, they are still holding very well. I cleaned the area first with Acetone and then Alcohol and used a firm pressure when installing.

Some trucks have a separate fuse for the trailer brake/turn lights. A friend and I chased that rabbit on his Ford truck the other day.

Got my edumication from Internet U. I found this article when I was having some issues with my hull in the same location as Bass1958s hull. Only mine was more in line with the Divergent Stress Field. The BCB worked with a local repair shop and got her fix up. This was two years ago and I can assure you she has been “tested” and still holding strong.Eugene Parker2008 Puma225 Etech HO

I took mine to my dealer first-Tommy Yetts at Rockwall Marine. Tommy worked with BCB and sent the boat to a local fiberglass repair shop. They did an outstanding job. I have been very pleased with the results and how I was treated. Eugene

By chance, are the reverse lights on your tow vehicle staying on?

So black is available for the hull and cap but not the nose cap?  I am not sure where the deck or body areas are.

Black definitely requires more up keep to prevent oxidation.  But all gels will succumb to the sun’s UV’s eventually if they are not protected.  If an owner can’t or won’t protect their investment, then it doesn’t matter what color it is.  Maybe educating the consumers that some colors do not have the same UV protection and then let them decide will be considered rather than just banning those colors.

My current 2014 Puma was delivered in Sept. 2013  It has a white nose cap, black cap, black hull, white boot, applered trim, malibu red bolt, malibu red consoles, malibu red cap inserts, white mini bolt, and black trailer steps and fenders.

It still looks immaculate today.   The hardest thing to maintain are the trailer step and fenders.  Tennis shoes with the slightest sand or dirt just grind into the gel.  Also, rock chips are hell on the front side of the fenders.  Need some mylar protection on the front side like the auto manufactures use on the lower panels to prevent the rock chips.

Dedicated mapping.  The larger the screen, the easier for these old eyes to see the details.
