Are breaks something the dealer can add? I dont understand how they work. Do you need the larger round plug? I just have the 4 pin flat. Is it just a matter of when the break lights turn on it electrically activates the brakes? Are the brakes themselves electric? …. sorry likely a dumb question. Thanks for the input.

I pull my boat with either a rwd tachoma or a fwd chevy equinox. At the same bad ramp the fwd equinox was much better. That is my experience.

My current boat is a 16 10″ Tuffy fish ski style boat (more fish than ski). I honestly believe it is a one of a kind. Serial tuffy01aa989. Its ok but just a turd. Not shiny. Lots of gel coat cracks. Torn drivers seat. Not confident in the transom….. i spent about $500 so far this winter on it getting the trailer in shape. The motor is not pumping water well so that will be more money. I just dont want to put more money in to it. As the saying goes. You cant polish a turd. My Chevrolet Equinox is rated for towing 3500 lbs so that is a factor for bigger boats. Yea id love a nice older pantera but…..Thanks for all the advice.

Hummm….. on my 100hp motor I have several holes to choose from. Are there only 1 set at 150hp?

Have you priced used boats lately? People want crazy amounts for them. I can do this for about the same price as a used boat…… but it is a new boat. I looked at a 1999 ranger r73 that was 13.5k. This wont be much more but it will be new. In the mean time Ill be saving my pennies to get the new motor. So any height or transom saver advice?

Just to be clear im being really picky when I say “signs of use”. Once I did unknowing step in grease and walk around my boat. Got a spot I cant seem to make completely disappear. I really want it to look like new for as long as possible.

Being in the Chicago area Id prefer not to drive it all the way to the factory for repair. I tried to bend a piece of aluminum to fit the corner for the shock mount and just could not get a good fit. Can Basscat make me something? Who would I need to call? what would I need to do?For the scratches can i just paint on a bunch of layers of gelcoat with a small brush then sand/polish it? Where can I get the Gel coat if that will work?ThanksTom
