Realy appreciate the help. Tried Lowrance 6 times today and as usual busy signal each time. Im not to concerned because weather is supposed to warm up the rest of the week. Ive checked with some of the locals that run graphs and they have never thought of it or had problems. I asked some of our etecs today what they thought and they said if you think about it we leave gauges on wells for up to 48hrs in worse weather than my garage, so Im not going to yank the dash mount out. Thanks guys

My 98 P3 did that same thing from the get go when I bought it. The previous owner tried everything from isolating the the fuel tanks to cutting wires to get it to stop. He ended up tapeing pakaging peanuts around it to moffell the sound. I changed the fuel filter which had alot of water in it and the beeping and the the oil alert flashing stopped. It has a 200 merc efi on it.

I puchased a 05 P4 in Sept. Only got to put 10 hours on and bam along came winter. Didnt get into any rough water but the ride and handling difference between my 98 P3 are unbelievable. The boat has a 200 Verado on it and the hole shot is great. I was still playing with engine height and props when mother nature shut me down. It was well worth a four day round trip to Mt Home to pick this baby up. Also got to take the factory tour and have some add ons installed. Rob

Thanks Joey and BCB. Folks called this morning and said they can;t drive into thier place but can see the house is still dry. They want me to hold off coming down now since there is nothing to do but wait and see what happens. They will probably need my help more in the future. What a mess the airlines are in right now. I would have had to catch a 9pm flight tonight from Salt Lake to LA to Phoienx to Dallas and get into Little Rock at noon Sat. And whats the chances of no delays. I can drive it in 22hrs. Thanks again for the update. And Joey Im still getting my jig order together just been a little hard to focus last few days. Rob. Also Joey, told my sister to get them a cell phone when she gets there. They have to be the only people in this country with out one!

You cant go wrong with the flatlands jigs. The bream color has been my best go to all year for large mouth. Going to try some of the craw colors on Flaming Gorge Sat. for smallies. I tell Joey what kind of conditions Im fishing and he works the the patterns up for me. Rob

Thanks BCB. It is a small crack that has developed and is in the spot (about the size of a quarter) that looks like it was repaired. It appears to be contained to the repaired spot and not spreading outside. I could live with it the rest of this season and see what the OI dates are next year if it gets worse. Ill get some pics today and try and post or send them someway. Sure would be sweet to have the boat there to play with. Thanks

Thanks Judd, I am looking at that. Figured up I have 3 1/2 weeks vacation time left I have to use or lose so might be a good fit. Im going to get all the wheel bearings gone through next week to be ready. This has possibilities for sure. Rob

Thanks Joey and BCB. Ill take your advise. As far as the shine on the boat goes, got some Bass boat saver and have to say that stuff really works. Thanks Rob

Congrads on the win Deweller. I read that TBF Western Championship is going to be at Flaming Gorge the first week of June, launching out of Buckboard Marina in Wyo. Im going to try and make it up there and check it out. There should be some good smallmouths caught at that time. Should be some Cats in that one to watch also. Go Cards!!

John, I agree, the Denali rods are sweet. I had two med/heavy jig and worm rods with me when my wife and I went to El Salto in Feb. I let our guide fish and Ill bet he told me five times how great they cast and how sensitive they are. The jerk bait rod is next on the wish list. Rob

Chaser, Im at 5300ft elevation and went through the same thing. Bought my P4 with a 200Verado in Mtn Home. Had a 23 Tempest on it when I test drove the boat on Lake Norfolk. Boat ran great, right at all the numbers I had read it should. Got back home and horrible hole shot, could only get 5500rpms (6400 is max on a Verado), moved the motor up and down , did about everything I had read to try. Found a brand new Trophy 21, four blade, big hub and my problems were over. With some engine movement Im right back to the numbers it would do in Arkansas. Wierd thing was the trophy hole shot was fine last year at the OI tournament, never did get to test top end due to all the stuff floating around in the lake. Good luck. By the way I keep the Tempest for back up and when I get a chance to hit Powel.
