I havea25 fury on 225 proxs 2010 puma no plugs in prop loads on trailer great , hole shot is great. Have a 26 trophy hole shot so so loading on the trailer sucks ,mid range is great , top end 3mph slower than fury 72mph trophy 75mph fury.

no plugs . not enough exhaust to break the prop free. as for ward . i caught and passed a 250 hpdi on sam rayburn with a sick 225 PROXS.

bcb when i got the puma in november 2010 with 26 trophy plus two people no bow rise on take off . wot 5900. 25p fury wot5800-5900 74.5mph two people full livewell hole shot great. now one day hole shot good , same same day later on will take two to three hundred yards, or partner move to nose of boat. new plugs , and fuel filter.

do as bcb said add vent holes quarter inch on backside of each factory holes. i have 2010 puma 225 proxs 25fury added holes 100% improvement 95 degree air 90 degree water.

keep your eyes open if you fish the mexico side. my last trip in june i fished 5 days in the solado arm . the mexican fishermen tried to stay to stay a long way from your boat. look for a change in boat styles leave leave the area if fishing mexico. US side fish any place you like .

i was running three batttery set up . changed to four battires . had the same problem in a tournament. installed sears plat p1 for cranking . 225proxs,two 1198 hb, hydrowave,airrators running all day no more problems. now my trolling batteries all charge up within ten min of each other. if i make along run cranking battery wont need a charge.

had a three bank that caught fire . charger was 16 months old. will not have another onboard charger no matter the brand.

had the same problem 2010 puma 998hb and vexilar . changed both transducers inside boat problem solved .

sears platinum 31, 225 proxs ,2 – 998hb , hydrowave , hyd jackplate , all pumps. no problems .
