Ams oil was recommended by my mechanic they supposedly where the first company to offer synthetic oil.

I fish in the southern vermont bass club. We fish both north and south on champlain and most other larger lakes in vermont. Im headed to larabees on sunday to try out boat for the first time. I live in brownsville VT. about an hour and a half from orwell. Thanks for the reply.

If I was buying a used boat from a dealer I would insist on a leak down test not just a compression test. A compression test will tell you if you have a bad cylinder a leak down test will tell you if it is worn and how badly. There are many sites that explain the test and how to perform it. It should not be a big deal for a dealer to do. Good luck with the boat

Thanks guys for your help. I checked the humminbird site and I found the y cable and it said it was to be used in conjunction with a dual beam transducer. Is that what is installed on my 05 pantera ? Any input is always great

The current model in my console is a lowrance m 56 it is stock finder and transducer I just bought the boat.

I think ams oil is awesome I also asked the same question you did just a few weeks ago. The overwhelming response was if you are under warranty you should run your manifactureres recommended lubricant. If you are not you should check to see if your engine is set up to run on pure synthetic or a blend in some cases it does matter. I hope this helps you.

Awesome job, I want to do a little work to my newly acquired 05 pantera classic. Nothing major just some dings and scratches filled and buffed. Would you mind giving me some technical advice if I get hung up. If so that would be great if not thanks anyway. Your boat looks great.
