Lowrance Electronics makes a special cleaning cloth that can be used on all types of graphic screens, GPSs, both automotive and marine; eye glasses. Go to the Lowrance website http://www.lowrance.com Its located under accessories. Ive used one for several years and it does a great job; doesnt scratch the screen. When the cloth gets dirty, wash in very warm to hot water with no detergent or bleach; and its ready to use.
want to thank everyone for their input and help.Talked to parts today and have boat sehedule for some other items while in MT. Home for invitational, will look at battery tray during that time. Again thanks
If BCB do the cover again i would sure purchase one.
Steve, whos been with Lowrance about seven years, replaced Linda after she left. When you call Lowrance, ask for Steve in customer service. On my way to the Owners Invitation, I stopped to visit family in Tulsa. I took my boat to Lowrance to get some parts at their outlet store where Linda used to work. Steve was very helpful; came out and updated my GPS and the antenna at no cost. What phone number are you using? Have you tried 800-324-0044? I dont have Steves number, but Id try to get it if youre not getting through. The best way to reach me is at my personal e-mail oldpoop@aol.com
Brian,There are a number of excellent vests out there, the Mustang being one of them. I purchased the Suspenders, Model 38AHRN with a safety harness. It has D-rings so you can attach a rope or latch on as a safety device you can do so. I also like the manual activation cord and tube you can blow into to add air.. Hopefully you wont be in the water long enough to use the tube! I paid about $175 per vest. Duane
So sorry to hear about another drowning when a life vest may have been able to save Richard life. Our family prayer are with his family and friends.
I have used the purple in automotive applications I am not sure if it has a marine rating on it.I personally would use only a marine rated oil. Most of the marine rated synthetic gear oil can handle up to 10 percent water contamination if it gets in the lower end.I run a Amsoil Marine synthetic gear lube75W/80W-90 never had a problem.
What do you use to clean your wheels other than elbow grease.
Went back and looked at the part number and there was a description. My boat has a single tank and no fuel valve but the description said fuel line went from fuel valve to motor.
This is what i use on my Saber. Go to a hyd. shop that rebuilds pump along with your plug for the boat and they should be able to help you.Or try a auto parts store.
