Thanks for the input. The cap is burgandy with flake and hull is a standard white. The white is what Im needing. I dont plan on getting the gel corrected until the off season as I dont want to keep it tied up for weeks at a shop.Butch P

You may want to call. I placed an online order on Wed of this week and on Thur I realized there where some other things I needed. I called parts and they added the extra order and I got a email Thur evening its all on the way.Butch P

I have the same issue on my 08 Cougar. I have been told it a common occurrence. I was going to replace the cable and switch, but decided as many suggested to just disconnect at valve and manually closed it. Just will pump in when needed and pump out. They say its a pain in the butt and will eventually break again.Butch P

No pain in the ass to close manually. Its a one time thing. Then if you want to fill live wells, pump it in then at the end of the day, put it out.Butch P

BCB, you assume correct and as far as hours, I went in buying the boat with a report from seller with compression and hours documented 116.4. No mention of all the other issues or engine computer changed out. And yes my honest mechanic actually did a history report and uncovered other issues that the motor had. Only wish I had done my due diligence before bringing it home.Butch P

Thats strange, I just did my 08 Cougar and my halos are working around the power buttons. Mine only had the 2 wire on the old flip style. My only concern is my halos stay lit once I turn on the acc rocker switch. I thought they are supposed to only light up once you turn the lights on to light the dash.Butch P
