My old man has lived there most all his life and he has been smacking them on a suspending jerkbait worked S L O W on main channel points leading to historical spawning areas. Weather has been the determining factor though, very inconsistent but hey, what do you expect in early March in mid MO..

Of course Im not there to state the facts first hand, just passing on what dad has told me, he lives about .5 miles from the dam and maybe the water is cleaner there, cold indeed though.

Im down at Falcon right now and there is a nice Holiday Inn express right in town, close to the county ramp. There isnt much down by the state park that I know of and its about 30 miles on hwy 83. There is also a Best Western and a couple of other older place here but the H Inn looked the nicest to me. Beats the beacon for sure.

Thank you all for the input, i will be in touch with Mountain Home in the am. Funny, I got the suggestion from a greenskeeper first and then heard it again from a fellow angler and now I find out BCB carries them so I must be on to something right. I found it funny that Optima group 31s would act this way and well, I learn something new everyday. Thanks again

Is this an issue moving forward? Does this effect the warranty in ANY way? Does this effect the longevity of the transom down the road? Would you change it and if so what is involved in that process???
