My 06 has the same problem.Replaced the originals several months ago.The replacements now have as many or more fractures than the originals.Wish BCB would rectify this problem.Suggestion: Place the acrylic tubes inside a solid chrome tube with the basscat logo laser cut in the side of the chrome rail so the light comes out the logo. The acrylic rails could fracture and it wouldnt matter.Think the chrome would look good also.
Mines an 06 Puma. Im running 3 batteries but a straight 24 Motorguide.I think my batteries are in pretty good shape though.I havent really noticed at what point it cuts off. May be when Im cranking the Merc., dont know. Thanks
Thanks. Ill check out the wiring at the switch tomorrow. Doug
Jamie, The voltage was 11.1, Rewired at acc switch without the splices and voltage is now 12.1. Hope this fixes the problem. Thanks alot. Doug
Bonners is one of the better ramps with adequate parking also. No fee. Doug
I have run a 27 tempest a few times on my puma, 250xs, compared to the 27 trophy I normally run the tempest is slower out of the hole and about the same on top end. A 27 tempest is a big wheel to try and turn. Have not ran a fury yet on my rig but my guess is the 26 fury will probably turn to many rpms. Might work good in warmer water though.
tried the ring back when I first got the boat and honestly cant remember what effect it had. I abandoned it so must not have worked very well. What about top end speed on the fury with my Puma and 250xs. Do you think it will be the same as current trophy or will I lose several MPH ? Thanks
I had an 06 model 332c that would come on by its self. Did that a couple times and then the third time I walked out in the shop and it was on, wouldnt cut off. Lowrance had me send the unit in ( it was about a year old) and they sent me a new one. Havent had that problem anymore and its been a couple years or more.
anyone have a top end speed comparision that was running a 27 trophy with 250hp and went to a 26 fury. Sure would like to have some idea before I decide to get another prop. Thanks
Was looking on a Mercury site and found out that the grey fuel lines with blue print are the epa lines and are ethanol friendly. All other different colored writing is not.( Mine on my 06 is red lettering )
The new mercury lines are grey with blue writing. All other colored writing is not the newer EPA lines that are ethanol friendly. Not certain about the bulb.
Have a similar setup with a trophy. Measure the cylinder between the two plates on your detwiller. mine runs best when that measurment is about 2 3/4 inches between the two. That equates to about 2 1/2 below the pad depending on how and where you measure. Have you ran the fury yet.
Rick Could you please send me back my Diamond Divas Tabaray brochure if its still readable. I cant remember the after hours number…..
