Thanks Dennis; I just spent $200 on that billet site!!! Those straps and tool holder should look good on my cougar if I finally get it this weekend.

Thanks for the support, this is getting fun. I want to add a rod organizer to the drivers side box next. Bcb recommends aftermarket. Anyone have any ideas? Want to keep it simple, 1 row with 5 or so spaces. Need to keep the storage space below and hang those spinning rods out of the way. I love them but they are like the “one bad apple”. I can stack 20 bc in a box and be fine, add a sr and i got a mess every time.

I just put an 8 in a 09 cougar ftd. I dont know if they are the same, some else may be able to chime in. You can go to their site and print off the templates for each unit. Cut them out and hold them to the dash and see if they will work for you. Hope this helps a little.

Thanks guys, I worked hard on this one, finding the grommets was tough. The frame is a used 5/8″ plastic cutting board. The cuts made it look like fiber glass, I just hit it with some flat black. The tray just happens to be a perfect fit. Just had it in my garage, cut the other two sections off and it worked great. The grommet for the special extra rack came from an old trailer tail light. The front of the hardware rack is an atv utility rack. It was fun putting it together, glad you liked it. Yea, hunting trips, the ducks love bass cats and suck right in. They like metal flake, ha. I just feel it is better to have and not need than to need and not have.

Already did that, still shows empty. I will go out and hit it again to see if it changes anything. Thanks anyway for the response.

Ok, must man up on this one and admit I am an idiot. My brother already hit the switch and I changed it back without knowing. All my life he has pushed buttons he shouldnt have, but thats what little brothers are for and we love em anyway. Bad thing is I wasnt even drinking. Sorry for wasting your time, thanks for the help.

One comes on the center step box. I dont know if you need the middle seat but if not you could order the step instead. You can see a pic of it on the home page, boats, erya. If you like or need the seat I am sure bcb can offer other options.

My bc dealer recommended to me that I do not use dfi in my 2011 250 pro xs. He said that it was designed for the reg opti and pp should be ran in the xs and pro xs. I am not that in to oil composition dont even know or care what the diff. is so I took his word for it. I will change if need be but I dont see why he would steer me wrong. He would have took even more of my $$$$ had he recommended the other.

Thanks Chris will do. If so I will contact the dealer. He filled my tank which was unexpected and a nice touch with pp for free. I bought some more before I left upon recommendation. He may be trying to help and steering is customers wrong with out knowing.

I just got off the phone with merc. service. They do recommend dfi simply because they say it is a better oil with improved additives. PP is a fine oil and using it in a pro xs will not void the warranty. I was told all the confusion was internal between merc and merc racing. Pp was “certified”and merc did not yet have dfi “certified”. Racing would not run it until it was. This “certification” process whatever it is, is costly and merc did not want to pay for someone to tell them they had a better oil: they knew they did. A letter went out to all dealers to try to clear this up. I guess I will switch just to follow the recommendation. They told me that I could switch over with no problems; mixing them was ok. This is what I found out, sounds like to each his own.

I agree with dm, dark nights they are great. If you have any other light source moon, another boat, dock, etc they are not very effective. I have 20/14 vision and they work good for me but I have to break out the moon lights for my partners sometimes. Ease of use and no storage needed makes them worth while. Dark nights a Dale you will love them. Drive 25 miles up the rode to the damn at Cumberland and you cant even tell they are on. I have 4 on a side on my cougar ftd and use flo fc that is not as bright as mono. I thought all the boys down your way had switched to braid anyway to roll them big blades deep? The cool thing is you can use them all night and when your head hits the pillow and eyes shut you dont see a laser light show!!! I have a lot and fifth wheel at kendell if you want to see mine we could hook up. Dont know which end you are on but either way it would not be too difficult.
