I would like to thank all who participated in this event. Myself , Rozell and Hammack have been doing this for 8 years and have enjoyed it every time. Tony and Jeremy Murray have been involved for 4 years and it is a joy whatching the excitement they give these kids. The little girl Jeremy finished 2nd with is 8 years old and still in treatment. I also want to thank another Bass Cat guy, MIke Burch, and his company Baker Hughs Petrolite. They supplied the 1st place 4-wheeler and 3 Bicycles. Big D Outdoors (Bass Cat Dealer) and DJ Sweat with the team of Bass Cat guys that were there, supplied the 2nd place 4-wheeler. Jimmy Rozell and Rulon Electric supplied 45 tackle boxes for the kids. So each kid got a PLano 6103 Tackle box. Academy Sports and Outdoors supplied $1500 in gift cards which let every kid FINISH IN THE MONEY. The inspiration these kids bring to me and the excitement they have makes me realize what most of us take for granted these kids cherish. They know how to live. If anyone is interested in getting involved with Kids Unlimited please get intouch with me.Thanks to allMike Lott
BCB As you know I have operated Team Tournaments in Texas and Louisianna for years.I believe that a Team Tournament Trail that does maybe 4 to 5 tournaments with a $750 entry then a championship would be great. The venues would be spread out through different areas. IE: Ray burn, Red River, Amistead, Eufala Then Championship on Norfolk or Table rock. Weve been thinking about this for a while. The hard part as you know is getting financial support to operate. Thanks Mike
Hey John, Do you like the reel I sent you? Also , how did the prop do?
I was there as well and had a new 08 Cougar there. I did recieve 1 boat order and waiting on 2 more that are confirmed. That area is waiting for more BCB presents. Everyone who looked at that Cougar had to sit in it, open all the boxes, look at the trailer and hull. It was like having the new toy at Christmas. This tourney is a well ran tourney and we enjoyed it very much. Everyone we met was very nice and freindly. We had a great time. Mike

Hey Terry, I should have called. Sorry. I was prfishing Friday and that new 250 Pro XS decided to quit. But no worries when you have friends. I was offered a loaner to use Saturday and Sunday from Monte at A&M Bait Company. They were great. That was my first Lawter Tourney and I had a Blast. I will call you next year and we can meet up.
The trade value on your engine is around $2200. Thats if it checks out on compression and lower unit. Let us know if we can help.
No sir. The Bay Cat sits higher as a bay boat should but still allows you to run a 20″ shaft. I have a guy in Beaumont Texas that is running 25 to 30 miles out but also uses it in Rayburn to bass fish as well. His boat has a 250 Yamaha HPDI and with 2 people it will still run low to mid 60s. Awsome boat to drive and fish out of. Give us a call if we can help. We carry some in stock. 409-769-3700 Mike
Phil had a great option Idea. The Sabre FTD is a great Tournament boat with lots of storage and with the 175 Pro XS it has the speed and performance of larger boats. I have driven and sold this combo and it is a fun rig to drive. With this rig you will make a lot of people with larger other brands carying 225 hp mad when they see a 175 passing them. Great advise Phil. Sometimes it surprises me just how smart you really are.
Ok , I think we are up to $700 from Dealers, owners and promotional guys in the southeast Texas area (Beaumont, Houston). I know we can do better. Thanks to all who are helping.
There will be a FTD in the Houston Show but there will not be a Cougar Advantage Elite. We did find the room for the FTD.
The PIV is a boat with a great ride with great fishability. With a 200 HPDI your nlooking at a 68 to 72 MPH. Although its not the fastest hull it is without a dought the best riding on the maeket. I have a 2008 PIV with a 200 Yamaha HPDI that I can tke mid 30s for it. Let me know if we can help.Mike
Come and see me at the Houston Show. I will be in the BOwden Marine /Bass CAt boothe. If you can come around 1:00 to4:00 on Saturday the 5th. I will have Country Music Star MArk Chesnut in the boothe. Thanks Mike
