Just went from a skeeter to a cat. Loved the skeeter but Ill never look back. The pedal is right where it needs to be–out of the way. It is completely uninhibiting. The performance is a step up and the customer service is second to none. Buy the cat!!

Ill give a nod to Bowden marine as well. Ask for Mike Lott. If he doesnt have the boat you want, he knows someone who does.

Are your wire leads corroded? Ive had similar issues and fixed them easily by thoroughly cleaning the wires. They didnt look that bad to begin with but I was amazed at how big a difference it made. My battery was fine, my motor just couldnt draw enough power. Good luck.

If it the Frogg toggs, thier customer service has been excellent for me. The goretex can usually be laundered and then ironed. The heat( be careful) will usually seal up any weird spots.

BCB, I ran in to the new Jag in Conroe at the PAA tournament. We had a great time and beautiful weather. My wife was quick to note that I already have a Bass Cat but I still secretly want a new Jag–we all do. As for the ring free, it is rather economical compaired to many others. Plus I have an 02 yamaha with the dreaded O2 sensor. Ive benn told ring free will help lengthen the life of the sensors.

Just bought an 02 cougar with the flipping insert. Its huge and scary fast. We love it and is a massive amount of boat for the money if you are going the used route.

Ive had ants and bugs get in mine before on other boats. Older mercs dont always have a lot of pressure so if mine got clogged in shallow water Id take it up over 5000 rpms and it would always unclog. I also carried a small wire to help unclog the outside hole. Im not saying this is great advice but it always worked on my old 90hp merc. (95 model)

I dont know about Ohio but Texas only has one. Caddo is the only natural lake in the entire state

Keep it in the states…. We need all the economic boost we can get. There have been a lot of problems on the border lately. Id stay close to the US side unless I had solid advice otherwise from someone that lives down there. Good luck.

Costa del mar 580 in green mirror. Best lense made in my opinion. Has a life time warrant and customer service is excellent…..sound familiar? No distortion and well worth the $.
