My friend bought one of the prototype Eyras in late 2010. It was the red, black, and white one that many people have seen. It is a beautiful boat and is extemely fast. He has a 250 Pro XS and can easily break 80mph with two people and tourney load.
I noticed that chargers seem to be a real problem on this board. I think I am having problems with mine as well. I cant remember the name, but I never had any problems out of my charger on my Champion for 10 years.
I have an 08 Cougar FTD with a 250 running a 26 pitch Fury. I found speed by trimming all the way out and then bumping it down a little. trimmed all the way out it would run about 73.5, but when i bumped it down it would run 77.7 mph. These numbers are with 2 people and full loads. Still learning to drive it and hope to hit 80. My water pressure is about 20 at wide open throttle. I know it is a different hull and motor, but it is worth a shot. Trimming down really helped chine walk as well.
Good point!!!! Just thought there may be someone out there that was an ACC fan. FSU could play for National Championship. Who they have to beat??? Klimpsun, Duke, NC State, UNC, and Wake Forest. That should be tough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Acid will take the stain off. I would just be very careful. U can buy it at Home Depot in the pool section. I would wax it real well after using the acid.
My Dodge Ram and Chevy Tahoe both have 20s on them and I have no problem towing. I would stay away from the 22s because they are usually a very low profile. They would just be more expensive to replace and not hold up as well.
