Thanks signing the papers tomorrow. I like to fish the creeks and rivers of lakes and docks so I think this size will suit my needs.
Im just an ol country boy. I have some on my I- phone but not sure how to add them to this site. It is identical to the Sabre on BCB website. Ill try to figure it out. golfen
See if you can get Colt Ford.golfen
Thanks Andy and let me say that if you live in the region that there is no better place to purchase a boat new or used than Greenes. The family has been in the business for a long time. This is my second boat from Greenes and Andy and his staff bend over backwards to do what is right. Kim in his office handles the paperwork and also makes Andy look good.golfen
10-4 guys.
Good looking boat. What motor are you using? Hey Andy what color is my boat? It looks a lot better in person than in pictures.
yowman that will do just fine, that boat will scoot and you will save tons of money congrats to you. I know it will ride great cause it is a cat.
Nice boat congrats.golfen
You sure did pick a great boat. Friend of mine has one with 250 Pro XS and it is one sweet ride. You will be very surprised at the ride and speed. I just cant figure out why BassCat makes so many different 20ft boats. Congrats. golfen
I like my boat but Dan Hudson on Sabre owners gallery has a great looking boat. golfen
Go to Bassboat central, basscat section page 13 guy name Barkerg, white Puma with red trim. Best looking rig I have seen, if I would buy new, that would be my colors. Lots of great looking Cats out there but that one is sharp.IMHOgolfen
I thought I needed a 5 prong vs. 4 prong for brakes. I have a Ford F150 with tow/haul mode that down shifts on downhills. Would that lock up the brakes? Thanks for your response.
The brakes were smoking when I stopped. I was on Saluda grade which is about 3/4 mile steep downhill. My truck will downshift while in tow mode. I have a new f150 Ford with the Ecoboost engine. I dont know if brakes were engaged all the way down the hill or not but I did have to hit them hard at one time on downhill. Back axle rims were very warm when I got home. I will have someone look at brakes but dont know how to prevent this in the future. I had gone to Lake Douglas in Tenn to fish and will go again soon and will go down this grade again. I also had no scratches on the bottom of my boat and both times I have loaded I have scratched to bottom on something on the trailer. I actually heard the scratching sound. I have felt for anything that could be sharp and scratch. Any idea what I am doing wrong or check. Pretty nasty scratches. I need to order paint from BCB to touch up.thanks
Sabre not as fast but sure is fun to drive and I like mine. 150 Merc. all the boat I need. Your EYRA was the Cadillac though.
I have had two HPDI,s one 250 and one 175. You are going to like it a lot.golfen
