Thanks a bunch.
When you guys mean max height what exactly are we talking bout. I tend to run mine if you were looking at the gauge on the middle or a hair above the second line meaning i only have three (all they way at the bottom middle and top). To add to the original post as well i think the tac is acting up if you had a jump or loss of 500 to 800 rpms i would think you would notice it and the motor never skips a beat. `
When you guys say serial number are you refering to the hull or vin number?
Got her going i tightened the terminals a bit more and walla. Curious though where is the engine fuse. I am learning more and more about this boat as i go but have ton to learn. Plus the funny thing the fron finder still only stays on for a second or two. Still havent got that one dialed in. do i access through the rod locker?
Bass Cat Boats wrote: It sounds like a loose terminal wire on the battery post, which correlates to the replacement of the battery. This is a very common issue and they often are just a tad loose. It could just be pivoting the wire will help, and tighten those terminal ligs with pliers, plus put vaseline on them. As for the wiring harness being pulled loose, those are AMP brand connectors and this is not common. Though apparently you have one. You may see if you can relieve some pressure on the harness by pulling slack wire out of the deck gunnel. And we apologize for this one. The stern light will not retro and we have no intentions of using it elsewhere. It is a tight fit on the Jaguar already. Are you refering to the wiring harness mounted to the inside of the transom?
Its a humminbird 87c. I also made sure the thing was seated properly.
Ok i talked to humminbird and they advised to put a meter on the front finder at it read 12.4 volts should be enough? I was out last night fising and wasnt running the front one just the in dash and after about an hour of fishing and listening to the radio i looked at the in dash an it read “input voltage low” the battery is brand new. Fired up the motor and idled to a new spot reading went away. So i tried using the front one it stayed on for about 3 minutes turned off again. When i got home i turned both units on and after ten minutes or so both stayed on. I am one confused individual right now.
If you dont mind shoot me that number. Thank you.
How do i tell the difference between tilt helm steering and solid shank steering?
ok im an idiot. Tilt for tilting the wheel. I apologize been a rough weekend wacked a stump with the lower unit been flustered ever since.
No worries you assumed right it is the HO. A local boat dealer is allowing me to demo the 26 fury tomorrow night.
Fellas are your speeds by yourself? I have an 05 Puma and a 225 HO and when i bought it the guy had a 27″ tempest. Me and one other person ran 72. I demoed the 26 fury and could only muster 70 at 5800 rpms with the same load. I put my 27 tempest back on. I am new but some have said the 27 is a bit too steep.
ok that makes sense. i will double check to see.
thanks that is what i figured i just hope i can reuse that pretty red trim:
wow thanks a bunch..
