It was Amistad. The boats first voyage this weekend. Fished Choke Canyon Saturday and Sunday and then headed to Amistad Monday and Tuesday. Broke it in right! Amistad is an incredible lake. Where I come from you dont see bedding fish in 18 of water. We caught a lot of fish, just no big girls. Had a nice 7 lb striper on a Zara Spook, that was a hoot.

The Super Duty has about 40K on it now. It had some issues in the begining but they have all been worked out and has become a very dependable ride. We wont discuss the fuel mielage though!

I have the color combo at home. I will post it tomorrow. The main difference is where this one is carmon red the other was supposed to be fire red. The mix up was totally all mine though. I did how ever fall in love this color from the minute I saw it. The sun changes this boats whole appearance.

OK BCB, were all posting pictures of our babies. You have had to have some favorites over the years. Maybe some wild colors? Maybe some new colors coming? Share with us please!

The bolt that goes thru the hinge could very well be siezed up from not being used. If it does not free up be careful when trying to force it around. My tongue had never been swung before when I got my boat and I eventualy damged the welds of the hinge from kicking and forcing it around. I had to have the bolt cut out of the hinge and replaced it. When you do get that bolt loose it would be a good idea to put some never seize on it.

Silly question but from the Mercury website it looks like the Tempest and Trophy take the same part # hub for the opti XS. Can I use the old one out of my Tempest or will it damage coming out?

Its a solid alarm and only sounds when I gave it gas. I only gave it gas twice and was on the trailer. I winched it up the rest of the way. Weird thing was the loss of power. When I gave it gas it just fluttered. I had idled for about 15 minutes and then idled again out of gear for 15 minuted so i am leaning to the motor was hot. Just didnt get the loss of power. Does the system shut down a certain percentage of the motor when the alram goes. I do not have smart craft gauges.

Lets not forget Lake Raven at Huntsville State Park. There are some 10s and 11s in that lake. It normally has some great grass in it if they havent harvested it lately. Its a no wake lake so dont plan on putting the boat on plane.

I know of the boat. It does not have a swing a way tongue. The boat has very low hours and very clean.
