To answer your Q..No…You have a pump for each function…Pro-Air has 2 pumps..1 fresh water “in” and 1 for pump out. Then 2 pumps controlled by A-Ten 1 for aeration and 1 for recirc…..Sherm
I agree totally with all that has been said…Either boat is nothing short of a awesome fishing machine…I think a PIV will do everything a Puma will do even on the “big” water in most cases.Depending on power on the Puma a PIV/200 can be real close on speed too.I just happen to have 2 new PIV/200 Optis and 1 Puma/225proXS in stock if your interested…..

Chris, Raspberry & Carmine are very simular they are both dark red/burgandy.. The Remington Steel is silver with a blue cast to it. Remington Steel works very well with either Raspberry or Carmine…. Sherm

The 520C is the same size as your LMS480. The GPS reciever (antenna) is different. The 480 uses a LGC-2000 and the 520 uses a LGC- 3000. The 525C is a dual feq. transducer unit for salt water. The 522C is the same as a 520C except the gps reciever (antenna) is built into the unit. They have been very good units…..Sherm
I can tell you I talked to Charging Systems about using a xtraII system on 3 batt 36v set up and they told me NO…I dont remember now what all the issues were but it works on a 24v system fine but not on 36v…. As for my experience on the Detroit R. I have ran both 82s & 109s on there and a 109 does no better in the current than a 82 does….So I stick with the 82s…..my .02 worth…….Sherm
Try connecting/jumping a good battery to the dead one when trying to get it to charge. Most battery chargers need to sense a battery before they will try to charge it……..Sherm
Id start with testing the trim solenoids or relays..(not sure which you have) That is the most common possible issue with your motor………Sherm
John, If you have wing nuts on your crank battery you need to replace them with ss nylon lock nuts…The wing nuts coming loose can cause more problems with your obs charging system too….Sherm
I have found it to be in the mid 60s on that rig…Not sure what it will do “down under”………Sherm
1. The 2008 seats are improved in them..I think they are much better than the 2006s! 2. Im not sure on beam & depth diffrences between the 2… No wide body hull for 2008. The all new hull found under the 2008 Cougar FTD & Puma is a wider body hull and has improved ride and performance…Its just plain AWESOME.. 3. Cant speak for BCB but Id bet NO on a 21 for 09.. There is no real reason for one..If you take a tape measure to the Puma or Cougar FTD you will find it has as much or more usable deck space than most 21s. Also with the state of the economy and fuel prices I cant see going to bigger. 4. The BCB dealer meeting is July 20-22 and 2009s will be available starting then 5. No the Mercury promo warranty (5 yrs.) ended June 28th Your buddy owes it to himself to ride in both new models and I think he will find the Puma or Cougar FTD will shine over the R boat…my .02 worth………Sherm
