check hose for the speedometer. may have a small leak in the hose, at high speed pressure is high enough to push water out small hole.

i advise you to ride in the piv before buying. i have a 2010 piv with 2010 sho. i am very disappointed in the all around performance. mpg, top end and hole shot stinks. the engine is a lemon or this is the characteristic of the piv hull either way i would not recommend this boat. had a cougar ae before. i would consider the puma ae that is being offered.

i have a 200sho/ piv. the boat is a great fishing platform but the with the sho the boat will not do much better than what you are getting. i was burned at the stake on here when i stated once before about this combo. has a lot to be desired went it comes to performance. i would not get a piv with a sho again. this is nothing against the boat or motor, this combo just dont work well together. the best i have seen is 69.7 that was low on fuel, just me and with the wind. 25 t1 prop. good luck
