Now I know. Kind of a secret dry strorage pocket. Thanks for the help. 2sport
I have a 2008 Classic with a white cap. I used the white fold down holders and two sided tape that has the foam cushion in the middle. The colors match nicely. I put one on the passenger sidewall left of the glovebox. The other I put just left of the ignition switch. The tape has held up well but if I ever want to relocate I can remove them easily with no hole or damage done. Good luck. Mike Paris, AR
You got me curious about finding an on-line Norman source with a big color selection. I found http://www.landbigfish.com in Akron Ohio that looks very good. The color selection is huge. I have not ordered from them in the past but it looks like I will give them a try. Take a look. 2Sport
I fish and play golf also. I get to Greers Ferry 2 or 3 times a year. If you are going to stay at Fairfield Bay your best bet is to rent a condo inside of Fairfied Bay. They are usually very reasonable. No motels inside of the Bay area. There are two golf courses inside of Fairfield Bay. One is Mountain Ranch and the other is Indian Hills. I would recommend them both but I would give Mountain Ranch a little better rating. A great restaurant near Fairfield Bay is Jansens. Broad menu and wonderful food. The lake at normal pool doesnt have much brush or grass. Main structure is rock and trees. In the Spring though if the lake is up a little the brush will be the place to be as mentioned earlier. Keep an eye out for schooling fish. Could be hybrids, Kentuckies, or Largemouth. Fun no matter which species they are. Beautiful place to be in the Springtime. Enjoy! 2Sport
Thanks guys. That is what I was hoping for. Now this honorary OFG just needs to learn how to use it. Hopefully I can get some practice time soon. Good fishin 2Sport

Dardanelle is my home water. Went last Friday. Found 61 degree water. Had several keepers up to 4 1/2 pounds. See no reason other than storms to keep 65 to 70 pounds coming in for the tournament. Consistent 16 to 17 lb. bags will be the ticket. Hope they do great! 2Sport
My 2008 Classic/200Opti/Trophy Plus combo gives me great performace. It is set at flush on the front part of the jack plate. It was that way on delivery of the boat and I havent had a need to adjust. Great hole shot and 70+ on top end. All that I care to do. As others suggested you probably should adjust you plate height. Good luck! 2Sport
I have a 2008 Pantera Classic. 200 Optimax with a 26P Trophy Plus. I got 72 straight from the dealer with no tweaking. I dont run it hard as I am not a tournament fisherman anymore. I agree with the earlier post about fuel economy. I feel like the combination of the light hull and the 200 Optimax was the best rig for fuel economy and still be able to run with the gas guzzlers if I wanted to occasionally.Good luck.2Sport
I have a 2008 Classic and I agree that you cant see the level on the trolling batteries. You can see the starter battery pretty good and use a basting bulb. For my trolling batteries I am using a battery fill system from Flow-Rite called Qwik-Fill. It is a kit with caps and hoses for the battery. I takes about 1/2 hour to install. It comes with a hose and squeeze bulb. Once the system is installed you just put a gallon of distilled water on the back deck. Stick the hose in the water and the other end to the hose on the batteries and pump. You pump till the bulb gets hard and then you unhook it. At that point all cells in both batteries are full to the proper level. Do that once a month or so and you wont have any problems. This is the easiest way that I have found and it has worked for years. I also have a system on my four Trojan batteries in my golf cart. Works great!Do a search for Flow-Rite Qwik-Fill and you can see how it works and pricing.2Sport

Lews SS1H is the best $100 reel out there in my opinion.2Sport
Nice restoration job. The boat looks great!I bought a new 1990 PII dual console with the exact same color scheme. It had a Johnson GT 150 and ran about 62 to 63 MPH. It was a smooth ride and probably my favorite boat that I have ever owned. Not my favorite motor. Power Head blew in 1995. Fixed it and sold it in 1996.Good Luck!2Sport
Heavier Buzzbait You can make a longer cast. Usually a faster retrieve to keep it on top. Easier to cast if you have a windy day.Trailer Hook Much more important than on a spinner bait. Too many fish are lost without one. When you have a big one blow-up on your bait and you dont even feel her, you will be hunting for a trailer real quick.Good Luck!2Sport
I have a 2008 Pantera Classic with Cooper Cobras. They still looked good and had been garage kept with little travel. I had made up my mind to replace them in January 2015. One last trip one them in December and naturally I had a blow out. So no matter how good they look they will dry rot on you in about 5 1/2 years. I put new Cobras back on. Dont wait any longer.2Sport
