White fenders, gray trailer, pivot tongue
Welcome. I also have a 2005 Pantera Classic which I love. Im sure you will be equally satisfied. Post a photo soon so we can see your new ride. Ron
Thanks for posting a solution to loading your Classic on the trailer. I have experienced similar problems. The fix for the end caps on the top roller has helped, however, it is still a struggle getting the boat snugged next to the roller without scarring the gel. What did you use to cut the metal fork to lower the top roller. Can you post a picture of the modification you make to the fork and rollers.
Here are some things to consider when planning your garage. Ceiling fan above boat to help dry boat after fishing on rainy days. Floor drain to drain water coming off trailer bunks. Sufficient electrical outlets at deck level. A 25 to 30 foot garage is ideal and at least a 9 or 10 foot wide door. Ron
I did all the above items. In addition I had a garage door installed in back of garage behind the boat. It opens to an 8 x 10 cement slab. Gives lots of room to work on the outboard engine and the natural light and ventilation on hot days is great. Its real easy to push the boat back onto the slab if you need to run the engine with the hose flushing attachment. Good luck with your project. Ron
I purchased an electrical plug-in and just couldnt bring myself to make a hole in the boat. I returned the plug-in and ran the charger cord up through the vent tubing. I placed some velcro on the cords plug and the inside of the chrome vent scoop. That keeps the cord from falling back into the back battery storage area. I have been using this arrangement for over a year with no problems. Ron
I added the step box on my Classic this past winter during the Christmas sale. I love it. I covered the holes in the fiberglass using Marine Tex. Very easy to install. The extra storage is nice for small items like sunglasses, keys and wallet storage while fishing, camera, etc. The cup holders are very useful but a little wide to hold a coffee cup, water bottle, or soda can snug while running at high speed so I added some foam around the inside walls which is held in place with silicone. The box is more useful to me than the seat. When an extra seat is needed during high speed runs I place the fold down seat (without using the post) in the center hole and have the passenger face toward the rear of the boat. Ron
WOW!! What an accomplishment. You certainly are deserving.
I just returned from Shreveport and attended my first Classic. I arrived before the Expo opened on Friday and it was nice. Saturday and Sunday the crowds were large. I could not get in the arena on Saturday for the weighin due to the large attendance. We stood outside the arena on Sunday for 3 hours in order to get inside. The show was spectacular. I found the event was well organized. Took the buses to all events. Looking forward to attending another. Ron
As a die hard Texas Longhorn fan, I extend my congratulations to LSU. It was a great series.
I did this last year and found the propane torch worked well. I kept pressure on the fender by using a jack under the fender so when the adhesive started to loosen the fender lifted up. I used a urethane adhesive I bought at Lowes when placing the new fender.
You have to remove the wheel to remove the plastic covers.
Congratulations to Mark. Great win.
You have my pink vote!!
My wife loves the Mettle reel from Academy. Very smooth. They put them on sale for $29. Retail is $49.
