Yes, I will have one coming as a Christmas gift. Is mooring mate the same as mooring lines? I have had the anchor rein setup on my previous brand x boat (Skeeter) and like Sam said, it is great for unloading. I like the fact that once you are through with the rope it retracts out of the way. I really like where yours is mounted Sam and will see if I can put mine there. I bet its not going to be fun though. BTW Sam, couldnt you find any better colors for your boat…. say, crimson and white maybe!!! LOL Thanks guys for all the input, and thanks BCB for a great boat!!

I have a Carrot Stix in a spinning rod and I like it. Its lite and has the action I like for throwing Spot Stickers and 4 inch worms. Orginally when to buy a Kistler, save about $100 over the Kistler though. If you get the spinning rod, first thing is get rid of the bait hanger thats on top. Does nothing but hang your line on the retrieve.

Thanks guys, I will break down and buy a new tank. The biggest problem with the cost is that I just spent $2400 to replace a tubro on a VW TDI. I want things fix right so I will spend the money to keep oil off my Cat and keep the 200 from blowing up.

Welcome to Alabama Aaron, I think youre going to love the fishing in these parts. Were blessed with have a good population of large mouth, small mouth, and my favorite the spot. And a variety of lakes and rivers. Several good clubs in the area and I invite you to look at the Fayette Bass Club, just 40 miles from Jasper. We have just finished our season but will start a new year in February. Good fishing and again welcome to Alabama!!

I agree with you BCB, I always check tires before I leave, but, its those times when youre driving down the road and pickup a nail or cut a tire or in my last case, valve stem failed. From what Im hearing here so far is the monitoring systems are not any good?

Agree with BT, I have an 05 Classic and its best of all worlds; Fast and rides good. People that have the T or S boats in this size class are amazed at the ride of this boat. One complaint I have is that front storage box is too big! I have trouble finding my baits that I need to fish with that day. I usally find them days/weeks later!!

PumaDave, with the little engine, does it hunt around for the right gear?

I have an 05 Classic with 04 200 EFI. Runs great, low to mid 70s. It does like gas at WOT though. But, if I run it around 4400 to 4600 rpm it does OK. The way I look at, for the $2000 to $2300 difference in price I would of had to pay for an Opti, I can buy a lot of gas. Another thing also is that the 2.5 EFI Mercs are bullet proof. I just love my Pantera!!

I think BCB should make it a standard item on the Classic. Well worth the money!!
