    I live in Northern Va. I used to use L&B props ( my old ranger) in Ridgeway VA. Larry Blankenship was a great prop guy and a friend, but I cant locate him. I am looking for help with the correct prop choice as well as the jackplate height and setup. If you know a prop guy that knows cats, please let me know

    Well my last boat was an 88 ranger 364. Its been ten years since Ive owned, but I couldnt refuse the deal. Now I want to make sure everything is right, then fish my butt off

    Does anyone have either a BP100 or the screen for the BP100? I am upgrading next winter but I also have inkblots on my BP100. My 96 P2 is very upset

    I have a question regarding these fuel lines. Today, running my boat (96 P2 with a 2.5 Merc) the boat got on plane fine, then after about 3 mins, the motor totally shut down. It immediately restarted, but did the same thing after 4 mins. Later on in the day, it ran fine on plane, no hole shot issues etc.. Then back to shutting completely off while on plane. Could this issue be tied to the grey and red merc fuel line?

    Ok Now I have a real issue and could use some help before I go to a dealer….. My 96 cat 200 Merc EFI, starts and idles no problem. It gets on plane no problem. After running a few minutes, it just shuts down. Almost like I pulled the kill switch. It starts right back up. I mean immediately. I have run it 4, 5 10 mins with no issue. But then it just shuts down. Is there a sensor or something causing this? If I can get some help, Id love it before I take it to the dealer. The fuel lines have been replaced. Last week, I noticed the vacuum line to the fuel pressure sensor had a crack in it, so I replaced that. Any Ideas? I would love the input

    I am doing my conversion today and have only a few minor issues. On the “New Dash” side there are two brown wirers. From the other side there is a brown and a brown with a blue stripe. Whisch goes to which? In addition, I have two pink wires from the back of the boat with nowhere to go. Do they just get taped? Last question: Under the dash the only brown and white wire I found is already connected into the harness. Do I cut this and connect to the brown and white in the new harness? I found the purple from the ignition and there was a solid brow and black wire taped. I appreciate any feedback

    Snowing in Northern VA right now and its 16 degrees. We may get 8″ this evening….. All of yall dont feel bad. Im a mailman. Will have to walk around in this mess all day tomorrow. Cmon pre spawn!!!!

    I just replaced the cables in my 96 PII yesterday. Wasnt that bad. A lot of motor wiggling but now it works like a charm. You may want to check your helm for stiffness as well.

    call Richard at Basscat. That guy knows every wire in the boat. But my advise would be to call him from out in the boat with all the wires available for you to see. Both the wires from the A10 unit and the wires coming from the back of the boat. If I remember correctly you have two pink wires from the A10 and two brown wires going to your bilge pumps. You have to connect the correct wires. But check with Richard first
