Thanks, looked it up and found what all four lights are for. 4 Light Warning Kit – Oil Level, Water Temperature, Water in Fuel and Check Engine. Upon switching from the superdash the following is listed in the conversion kit page. NOTE – This kit will not replace all the features on the Super Dash. You will lose Oil Temp, Engine Temp, Clock, Water Temp, Compass, Barometer, Engine hours, Trip time and distance, Trim and Water Pressure (optional), and any other features not included with the kit above. The ones that Im worried about replacing are oil temp, engine temp, trim and water pressure. As of now the only wiring issues i have upon converting are the oil low, oil high, and engine overheat. Does this Mercury warning unit cover what the superdash did functionally as far as the warnings and buzzers are concerned?

From what Ive noticed you get what you pay for like so many other things. One other thing i can say is the cameras with the IR tend to not take the greatest pics at low light. The Cuddeback is a great camera and recommended by many, the Moultrie cameras are good for the price. Wildgame innovations makes a good camera and they arent that expensive either. Your local sporting goods retailer should have them in stock. If you are looking for a deal i was just sent this link of a camera on amazon.com for a Wildgame Innovations 6mp camera. http://www.amazon.com/Wild-Game-Innovations-Digital-Scouting/dp/B004ZICB1Y/ref=xs_gb_bd_A9I!54pIall-?_encoding=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1324396906&sr=1-16&pf_rd_p=441937801&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_t=701&pf_rd_i=20&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=04M7H5QKKK4146TT8ZBYIm sure the other brands have great customer service but WG Innovations has great support to back it up. We had one of these cameras set up at the cabin over some apples and have videos of bears eating apples and licking the camera. The videos are very clear as well. Remember though you may not want to see what is really going through your back yard, like the bears that were finishing off our cases of mountain dew and cooking grease on the deck at our cabin. Good luck

I may be wrong but i think that is the boat Marty Stone and camera crew were driving around doing interviews in. Saw one clip of him sitting in the console of a BassCat.

This format is awesome. I like how guys say they dont really pay attention to the scoreboard but inside you know its eating them up when they find out theyre below the cut. I know thats what goes through my mind when i cross paths with another fishermen and theyre tearing them up. The longer show is filled with lots of emotion, all the ups and downs that they cant fit into an hour long show on ESPN. Then when talking about anglers adapting to conditions lets factor in the quantity vs. quality as a “condition” and we see how guys can really adapt to the game. Some anglers fell off the map because they couldnt bring themselves to fish numbers. Looking forward to the next one, hoping to see my fellow Michigan man KVD strike.

Ill have to wait until spring on the props, but for the battery Im running the sears 31 AGM series monster that was recommended in previous topics on BCB forum. I went with that hoping that we couldnt have the problems with the graphs any more. From what i remember i have 9.7 constant volts on the bow (HDS7) and roughly the same on the console(LMS28 i think) even when its fresh off the charger. If there are other suggestions let me know Im all ears and would do whatever it takes to get it working right. I had read a post where someone ran a heavier wire down the center of the boat from front graph all the way to the battery. Thanks

Ill have to see about trying out that 25 fury when ice melts.Tx76 The motor has 250EFI ECM and ECU and is otherwise capable of running the XB components, the rest of it being capable i should look into that.

Hmmm..GLABCOT…Great Lakes Area Bass Cat Owners Tourney on LSC Now youre on to something. I bet that would be a great turnout as i can think of quite a few cat owners that would love to participate in something like that. We always talk about going in May to fun fish anyways. If it creates enough interest let me know and Ill be there.

I would have to vote for Zonas fishing show as well. Living in Michigan its nice to see some of your “home” waters and a little more smallmouth fishing.

Dwayne i feel your pain, i have probably 8″ of ice left here now and supposed to get 6″ more snow this weekend. appears that winter isnt over just yet despite the 50deg that i saw a few days ago.Our last trip out we were catching quite a few bass on tipups so that wasnt making the wait any easier.

Thats quite the coincidence that you posted that because i just got off the phone an hour ago with Discount tire and even after i told him that the manufacturer puts them on he still told me that they will NOT put them on a boat trailer and was trying to get me to put on a trailer tire. I called another Discount tire shop and they had no problem putting them on as he knew that there were many bass boats that had came through the shop and they would get them put on. Dropping the rims off tonight to have new tires put on. Guess it just depends on who you talk to.

I have my fingers crossed that I dont have to get that involved but will find out very soon. I dont want it to turn into a huge project however i want it done right to where i dont have to touch it again. I like the thought of getting a new coupler and welding it on, mine is not in top shape but between that and a possible brake line that system would be 100% new and i like the thought of that as its not been in real working order since i bought the boat.Guess i need to start ordering parts to get them all rounded up for the overhaul. Ill take some before and after pictures and see how everything turns out.basjax – I have been pondering getting the carpet replaced figure thats a good winter project to take it in and have done, what ballpark price was it for the total project? I dont want to hassle with that myself probably just take it in. Ive already replaced the gauges in the dash and converted to the A10 panel which i think turned out pretty nice. Seats were new just before i got the boat.

HAHA yeah i was able to figure that much out on my own. After the third phone call and a very willing guy in the parts department who had no luck going through files and finding my order Ive decided to just see about purchasing another axle just dont want to pay 550 for a complete brake axle so hes checking to see if the axle/spindle assembly can be sold separately. Just need to get it installed before snowfall lol. Thanks for the response.

Well after the first two phone calls to parts department trying to locate an order number to see what the axle was built to we had no luck. So the third call was getting a price for a new axle delivered again but wanted to verify dimensions before placing the order but havent heard back on that yet since Wednesday. Ive since found a semi local frame and axle shop that can build a square tube axle and will pursue that route instead. I know that people get busy but i have to imagine that if id have spent 60k on my boat and needed assistance i would have had different results but since thats not in my budget I opted to go with the new to me 2000 Jag haha. I still love the boat but got a little frustrated about the axle deal but im over it now. One question. While im having the new axle built i was thinking about switching over to disc brakes what are the thoughts on that?

I was looking on ebay but was only finding the gen2 and want to make sure before buying that it would fit.redngoo – Wow that site is amazing looks to have everything. Ill contact them and see what i can come up with.Another question. I have the HDS unit with structure scan mounted on the dash, is the ethernet cable the correct one to link the front HDS with the Structure scan module? Boat is in storage until the snow melts otherwise id go look to make sure. Thanks guysLast edited by bigfishrmanz on March 2nd, 2016, 3:23 pm, edited 2 times in total.
