You definately want that 6th wire it disengages the brakes on trailer when you put your truck in reverse i run a five flat on my truck b/c i have other trailers to pull and just have a quick connect wire for the 6th one
Thanks for the info i was just curious for the safety of my motor, but my hole-shot is not a problem we have shotgun strts in our night tournys and i am good ways in front for a short while i was just wondering if maybe i wasnt pushing it hard enough at 6k rpms or something i just couldnt see getting another 3-5 mph out of it without running more rpms and i know 6k is quite a bit but this is my first mercury so i didnt know and i have smart craft gauges so i imagine they are accurate maybe these guys go by speedometer and not gps
YEAH THE FACT THAT THE CENTERLINE OF THE BOAT IS OFF CENTER I DIDNT REALIZE THAT UNTIL I WAS SWIMMING WITH MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER AND WENT AROUND THE FRONT OF THE BOAT AND I HAD BEEN HAVING THE EXACT SAME TROUBLE BUT ONCE I REALIZED WHERE THE CENTER OF THE BOAT WAS I WAS LIKE WELL THAT MAKES SENSE NOW SO YEAH BACK THE TRAILER IN WITH THE SHORT BOARDS BARELY OUT OF THE WATER AND LINE UP THE LEFT SIDE OF THE NOSE AND SHELL LOAD
Well thats the thing i have tried to take pictures of it but it is so minimal it doesnt show up in photos. To see it you have to get down eye level in the shade. Its almost like it has a film on the surface but it doesnt wash off, Im pretty sure it is oxidation but it is on the surface
Put a picture of a tiny fish on here that most people wouldnt take time to post and everyone has to commment….. yet you post a serious question on here that would require some insight and you get nothing or very little. ha i appreciat your input ward i did go to the thread and read it i was helpful as a matter of fact it gave me the info i needed and i ordered some products last night to try i was hoping someon had tried some stuff and had some product reviews this boat is oxidized because somone before me didnt take care of it i am a working man it took me a long time to get the money put back to buy this boat i dont have the money to go out and buy a brand new one i got a good deal on it and i am trying to protect my investment as for w/w/w/w if i have to be a somebody to get responses on here i guess i wont worry with it anymore and i wasnt talking about just the post on oxidation i have posted on here before about other things and get few responses as well i have read several intresting post based on the topics thinking well thats something i would like to know about and there is very little input and as for my intelligance and spelling i never claimed to be a rocket scientist i am as you say just another guy who loves his boat and likes working on stuff also you shouldnt take post on here so personal you have clearly misinterpeted my tone i meant no offense just kind of ribbing you guys i bet rick would be proud of such a welcoming family and i am sure i mispelled something or made a mistake in here somewhere so dont waste your time critiqueing it i wont be offended by you pointing it out and you dont have to respond to this because you dont owe me anything and i have said my piece and again ward thanks for your input minus the insults

I have a pantera classic with the trophy plus my jack plate is set about 1/4″ above flush and i have two plugs out i have a 200 efi 2.5L my hole shot is pretty good with top speeds around 71.5 by myself and 1/2 tank and i weigh 240 two guys my size it runs 68-69 i hope this helps i hear of people getting higher top ends i dont know how or what i am doing wrong but i turn 6000 rpms at top speed so i dont know how they do it also what is WOT i keep seeing it but im dumb to the lingo

If by jw holes you mean community holes yep found em lol i caught 12 keepers only one under 16 1/4 and all of them were returned at the ramp at the end of the day after spending all day in green water. I was going to weigh my best 5 but couldnt find my scales when i got to the ramp. I have only fished dardnelle a few times but after a few tough weeks on brewer and the ferry (tough for me not everyone apparently) i was ready for a change of scenery and it was a nice change
I agree those are intersting facts but i am 26 so i dont know about the good ole days what i do know is its hard to fish and pay for day care and other stuff and insurance of all sorts and other thing that didnt come out of that household income back in the day the fact is that our gov has tried so hard to make it a law for us to pay for stuff they believe is for our own good that we dont keep much of that income thses days and like i said i wasnt aournd then but that is my thoughts. Also we dont all have sponosors so let us have something to gripe about lol
