I use a lot of spinning gear up here in the tundra. Most of the time on spinning gear I use 8lb p line floroclear which is a copolymer line instead of florocarbon just because of the memory that the floro has easier casting. tried fire line and spiderwire both it is just to hard on equipment for me. I put the step box in my 2001 cougar and it looks fine to me but I dont have any pictures of it to show you. The only thing I found is that when you pull the back cushion out other than pluging the rivet holes it also opens up the latch on the live well so you have to make sure it is locked or it will fly open when running and on the trailer going down the road…IF ITS NOT A CAT ITS A DOG BASSCAT BOATS 2001 COUGAR 225 YAMAHA….www.dropshotdennys.com

after watching that game and the peen state game and the michigan state game and the the texas tech osu game. of course this is an opinion and its mine but there is not a college team out there that I think can stay with texas tech bar none. this was the first time I seen them play and they are impressive. there are a lot of places to stay. you can put google earth in and down load it go to lake norfork and add resorts and it will give you all of them with phone numbers and also prices and go to mt home and it will show hotels.. It will also give you a look at the lake from there. I run 4 optimas on mine 3 blue tops for trolling motor te109 and a yellow top for starting battery. and I dont seem to have any problems. But i would be leary of only running 3 batteries because of some of the water i fish and a lot of current. dont thik you will have much trouble putting 4 batteries in teh back of your cougar I have a 2001 cougar and run 4 batteries in mine but I am also using optima blue tops and the battery tray was rebuilt and they all fit in the tray along passenger side gass tank…IF ITS NOT A CAT ITS A DOG BASSCAT BOATS 2001 COUGAR 225 YAMAHA….www.dropshotdennys.com
this was basscats answer to a crotch rocket. my first basscat was a caracal and it would run close to 70 but dont go there yet you need some seat time to learn that boat. It can chinewalk bad on you just the nature of the beast. but what a fun boat to drive once you learn it…rpms full out should be around 5700 to 5800 but with a bad compression in one I would watch it close..IF ITS NOT A CAT ITS A DOG BASSCAT BOATS 2001 COUGAR 225 YAMAHA….www.dropshotdennys.com
