Is there any verbage anywhere that says my warranty is void if I use other oils that exceed TCWIII rating? Can any motor manufacture treat me differently because I dont use there oil? Royal Purple is making a big splash in the outboard circles and likebworner says every one is comming out with a syntetic line. If you do a little digging youll easily see that not all synthetics are created equaly. I guess what JohnM17 is saying is dont rock the boat, even though it may be better for the motor/performance. I appreciate your input and will most likely do the same unless I hear what I want to hear ha ha

Very helpfull, thanks. Especialy putting a twist in the strap! I got the Deans cover and will do a little tinkering. Maybe line the inner perimeter with the dust cover I have? or try the Vett cloth. Think putting the cover over the “dust cover will solve the scuffing issues?

Ward, I think I might know what your saying maybe, drilling in the glass was my main concern and why I posted. I was thinking of of fastening a strap to the front edge of the storage compartment behind passanger seat and then some how to the hand rail? Looking into other (better) possibilities aswell. I still fish as a co-angler sometimes and that little strap = peace of mind!

the day our nation turns away from the TRUTH it was built upon is a sad day for all, look what happened to our schools after prayer was “banned”. Saw an interesting article in Newsweek, just in time for easter, LOL . . . . titled “The End Of Christian America” although I cant fully agree with there findings I do belive its a sign of the times. EASTER ROCKS! and Jesus loves all, especially fishermen!! Happy Easter all!!

Thanks BCB, I assume these seals are common and I can pick one up at a local marine dealer? I doubt I have any issues, just want peace of mind prior to a busy season and its never been done prior. If the temps are fine can I get away with postponing this procedure? Whats the best method for monitoring hub temperatures?

Check the “short stop(s)” by pass them to see if thi is the problem, simply remove the wire from one side and connect it to the other pole so no voltage is passins throug device after replacing all batteries in my boat i still had low power after a little use, I put a tester at T-motor, tester read 36v . . . (total voltage from three 12v batt) . . .I step on pedal the votage would drop to 24v because the Short Stop on Batt #1 would trip resulting in low T-motor voltage/power. hope this helps.

Nice mounting ! Ive seen a few BassCat guys that mounted the unit to the rail. Thought that was slick and out of the way. (a little lower and more to the side, but still very movable) Anyone got pics. Im in the same boat and looking at the possibilties of mounting SI.
