Mo has a you tube vidio of his boat if you go to the 19:30 mark you can see the proplem with the lid he is talking about. The smallest breeze or wave would make that lid slam shut. It should be a real easy fix for bass cat to add a strut.

Glad to see Ivan and everyone is ok. Sad to see Ivans new boat like that. But the car looked like it lost to the cat.

Thanks Big Mike I think there are 3 at delears and Rick had offered to move 1. But until the farm sells we can not do anything. I am sure it will all workout right in the end. Thanks every one for the comments. I really intended the post to be Thanking Bass Cat for all they have done most likely with out knowing it. Arthur

If you can stand the $15,000 you will be much happier. I rebuilt one in the early 90″s it last about a year. I ended up having to replace the powerhead.

I like the xz225 layout and price wise it looks like a deal but I know the difference is in the quality. But I would not want a Triton to much unknown with BPS merger. I want to stay in the mid $40,000 so unless I find a deal or rick comes out with a new model I will most likely down size to a p 2 decked out. I really would like a larger deck with center rod storage. Bass Cat”s quality and service is miles ahead of the other boat manufactures.

Ok that makes sense. I would not want it flush mounted. I would like it set up like Ivans last years boat.

I would call and talk to John at Jones Trolling Motor. I talked to him about it a couple of days ago. If you deside to go with a 3 battery system I would get some back up source to jump your starting battery. A limit of fish and a dead battery could ruin a tornament.

I have decided I most likely will be ordering a p2 in the near future. 200 ProXs or 200 SHO both seem great go with service and personal preference. Manual jack plate, trolling motor largest 24 volt unless you do a lot of river fishing I would get a 36 volt again brand is a personal preference. Electronics I would get them factory installed. I was thinking lowrance but have changed my mind over price and customer service most likely it will be Helix by Humminbird. See my post titled (does any one have any info on helix 9,10,12 ) lots of good info and links to more. As far as console the P2 it is not the removable kit but i am pretty shore you could order it bolted in with no sealant were you could install it for the cold months and remove it for the summer. For more info look at the top of the page under (which big cat is calling your name) and search under the Bass Cat FAQ Archive Pantera II dated may 14-12 (that is not a 2 it is 2 I”s)Last edited by acf cat on November 1st, 2015, 9:59 pm, edited 1 time in total.

I only know parts of the answer to your question. The Eyra Sp are Promotional boats. Normally they came with a 225 no hot foot, smaller fuel capacity and a few less bells and whistles.

The P4 is better for big water. The boat is 4 inches longer and the v is deeper. It was designed to be a bigger water boat.

Thought I would bump it to the top to remind every one of the dates. Also things are looking up we have all 3 parties in agreement on the real estate deal. Just waiting on banks and paperwork. I am almost healed from my accident. Hopefully I will have some good news to post in the near futher. Arthur

I would call the factory or take it to the nearest dealer. I have looked at several boats and i do not think the front piece looks wright. Please up date us with your out come.
