Thanks. I like to use the full map screen which requires the use of the 1440 for depth info. The stop screen feature should allow me to do this. Thanks a million, Andy Seago Pensacola, Fl. Merry Christmas!!!
OOPs! Should be Fury not rage. Guess I was thinking about my wifes reaction to my buying a new prop
After much research, I ordered the Fury 27 pitch. Received it yesterday and test drove it this morning. Have not tried it with a heavy load but with approx. 30 gallons of fuel, 4 batteries and tackle, and my 180 lbs. it exceeded all expectations. Cured the rev limiter problem, turned 5820 RPM and GPSed 76.5 MPH. Much easier to drive than the 26 trophy plus. Followed recommendation to raise the jack plate 3/8″ and it appears to be the perfect height. Thank you all for the advice.
I had the same problem with a 150 efi. turned out to be the fuel filter. I removed the filter and poured the contents in a disposable container. Problem was the water sensor and I guess I had a small amount of water in the filter.
The reply is a little arrogant. You assume that everyone is as familiar with the procedure as you are. Reminds me ofthe 14 year old that thinks hes talking to an old person thats just not with it. Take another minute and do a good job!!! spbait, your kidding right? At the top of the page is a button marked “images”, next there will be the option to build a photo album, then you use the toggle buttons (icon) marked to seek your images in the location in your computer to hit the proper image address and then download the images you selected. We really want to be nice, and we appreciate the effort to post images, though it is our job to answer boat questions. Computer experts we are not and we tried to give simple directions to follow. Searching the pages for pictures or how to post pictures, or looking in the help section of Yuku would get you there also. There is no arrogance in simple directions as were given. Just simplicity and It looks like the post was done around 6:30 this morning. We really try hard and criticism such as this makes us wonder why sometimes. Maybe Ranger, Skeeter, Champion, Triton, or Nitro would take time to give directions in any form. No, we dont think so. BCBLast edited by spbait on April 14th, 2011, 3:50 am, edited 4 times in total.
OUCH!!! Didnt intend to stir folks up. The word arrogant might have been a bad choice, however, I have not changed my mind regarding the answer to the photo question. Terse, or maybe curt, would have possibly been a better choice. It is obvious that Richie was having problems or he would not have spent the time to post the question. I have seen this same question several times posted on the owners board, so its apparent that the process of posting pictures is not obvious to the most casual observer. I was always taught that if you do not know the background of the person asking the question, assume that he is totally unfamiliar with the subject and provide detail accordingly.Having said that, I have owned several Cats, am very happy with the boats, and have received superb support from BCB over the years. I guess this is what caused this particular response to jump out at me. A few more minutes spent on the response would have been the proper approach. My opinion.I will continue to support the Bass Cat family. This is my last post on the subject.
A dumb question, but here goes. For BCB– Is the tube marker used to remove the logo as richstadler asked or to recolor the faded area? Where can the markers be purchased?
I presently have an 08 Puma FTD and am considering going to the 2012 Eyra. The comment by Phil about the inability to see over the console of the Eyra has me spooked. Since Im only 510″, is this going to work for me? The thought of 80 MPH without the ability to see where Im going——–!!!!! No dealer close by.
This boat is a steal at ths price. I am anxious to get my new one ordered, but will not lower price any further. Has 3 new trolling motor batteries, is in immaculate condition, and engine warranty until June of 2013.Last edited by spbait on October 17th, 2011, 9:24 pm, edited 4 times in total.
The wires for the turn signals are the same wires for the brake lights.
If you have a choice of dates I would not go to the Big O this time of year. October, November, and December are much more bearable weather wise and the fishing is much better. The fish start bedding in great numbers in December. January and Feburary are very open to severe cold fronts that bring fishing to a halt.Last edited by spbait on August 29th, 2011, 10:01 pm, edited 1 time in total.
The Guesthouse Inn in Clanton, Al. is reasonably priced and very fisherman friendly with lots of parking and hook-ups for battery charging. Dining close by. The Alabama 4H Center rooms are very nice and large. It is also minutes away from Bees Wax launch, located mid-lake. No dining facilities close by. Numbers for each are available on line. Either choice is fine.
Dont know what motor you are running, but if the alternator is belt driven that would be the first and easiest thing to check. The belts do break!
Tried search on BBC Bass Cat forum. Came up with zero results. Anyone else have suggestions?
I want to mount the 998c flush in the console where the 520C is currently installed. The fit looks a little tight according to my measurements, but I seem to recall something that says this is a doable do. BCB admin: any comments on the fit or linking options?
