I have met so many nice people here in Texas, nothing and I mean nothing like california people.I wished I would of made the move sooner, it has been such a great transition.Still getting used to rattle traps because the fish in southern calif. wont even look at them and the lakes I dont have to fish 60-70 feet of water in the winter, but man there sure are alot of trees in the water here takes a little getting used to.Thanks for all the kind words really appreciate.Tim

Order a extra one, when I did mine the first shock ended up being a guinea pig. A very small flat head screw driver worked best for me.

Go on the Texasfishingforum.com I would go to Texoma About 1 hour north the stripper fishing has been off the hook this year.Ray Roberts 30 minutes from there Dannie Golden Get Bit guide Service is an eye opening experience running the lake with him and he will put you on fish.Hope this helps.

You can get boatlanes.com for Rayburn, not sure how good it is but the lake Fork is awesome.

Launch at Eisenhower state park cost $5 its right by the dam. If you want small mouth cover water they seem to stack up and they like that end of the lake so no need to travel far. Stripers are hitting top water 1st thing in the morning throw anything and there are good ones. Pick up a texoma license its $12 good for a year.

Thanks for all the input, will check the plug up front. It usually will take 10-20 seconds on high before it kicks.

Might be selling a 2000 Cougar with 225 optimax, gone through the whole boat new pumps, batterys, carpet, trolling motor, rub rail , hambys, steering wheel, dash. Only 180 hrs on motor it had a full dress power head years ago. Email if interested ][email protected]
